Centre for Stories

Before you submit your manuscript, how do you make sure it’s the best it can be? Join freelance editor Jess Gately and she teaches you how to assess elements of style, character, plot and pacing in your own novel by yourself, in this workshop designed to help you in the initial stages of self-editing.
This workshop is ideal for writers who already have at least a first draft of a full-length manuscript or short story completed, and are looking at progressing to the next stage of editing and pitching. However writers of all levels are welcome if interested in learning more about editing generally.
This workshop is part 1 of a 2-part course. It will be followed up by a second workshop from Jess Gately in May on copy-editing.
