Great short stories performed by great storytellers.

Centre for Stories

Lit Live is great short stories, read by great storytellers.

Every month producer and presenter Sarah McNeill chooses the best short fiction from around the world, and selects the best local actors to read them.

This month’s theme is Shaken not Stirred, a martini-dry collection of provocative stories ranging from a contemporary ghost story to a larrikin tale by Henry Lawson. Read to you by Lit Live favourites, Rebecca Davis, Greg McNeill and hosted by Sarah McNeill.

We are thrilled that Lit Live is supported by Luna Palace Cinemas. Book your tickets now to be in the running to win one of five tickets to the Live HD screening of Royal Shakespeare Company’s Stratford Upon Avon production of Measure for Measure.

Come and enjoy an engaging and relaxed evening of entertainment with like-minded people.

Cheese and wine included.

Due to limited seating, we cannot offer ticket refunds. If you have purchased tickets to an event and can no longer attend, you are welcome to pass along your ticket to somebody else. Please notify us if you wish to do so at: [email protected]

Please note, Lit Live no longer accepts senior concession discount. We are sorry for the inconvenience.
