We’re DEAD serious about coffee and cake… so we’re inviting you to join us on a coffee date with death!
If you’ve ever wanted to discuss death, dying and loss in a welcoming, friendly space, come along to our Death Café at The Alex Hotel’s Cafe Mezzanine, just a short walk from the State Library (50 James Street).
While enjoying a beverage and delicious cake at The Alex Hotel Cafe, our experienced death café facilitator Dr Margaret Sealy will guide you on a fascinating discussion on death and dying. Ask questions, share lessons learned, and break the taboo of discussing death.
All tickets include access to bottomless hot drinks and a sweet or savoury treat, which will be ready to pick up upon arrival. See you there!
This Death Café is part of a full Day of Death program and is preceded by two other exciting opportunities to discuss death and dying at your own pace. Come for the whole day and secure your spot to the:
