Backstories – Wellard
Oct 1, 4:00 pm - 6:00 pm
Wellard Pavilion
Backstories is a multi-sited storytelling festival located in the suburbs of Western Australia. Spend a lazy afternoon with friends and family and hear from two trained storytellers. Pack a picnic, bring something to sit on, and put your mingling hat on – it’s going to be a rippa arvo!
Featuring storytellers Saadia Ahmed and Colin Archibald with music by Natasha Meyers, and facilitated by Harjit Singh.
WHAT TO BRING
Bring your own snacks, drinks, or a picnic dinner. Please make sure you bring a picnic rug or a lawn chair to sit on as seating is not provided.
TICKETING
For those who can afford it, pay-what-you-feel ticketing is available starting at $10.00. Ticket sales mean that we can pay the storytellers, musicians, and other artists who make our Backstories festival possible.
Companion card holders are welcome, please contact us on (08) 9328 1443 or at info@centreforstories.com to organise this.
If you are experiencing financial hardship, you can contact us to arrange entry at no charge on (08) 9328 1443 or at info@centreforstories.com.
