Southern River
Backstories is a one day multi-sited storytelling festival located in the suburbs of Perth. Reaching from Falcon to Carramar, Backstories provides new opportunities for storytellers to share stories in local backyards.
Bring a picnic and a blanket, hear from two storytellers, and meet new members of your community—all in your local area of Southern River!
Featuring local storytellers Shenali Perera and Zenatalla Ibrahim, facilitated by Alexander Te Pohe.
Please note that although this is a FREE event RSVP is essential. The exact location of this event will be emailed to ticket holders on Monday 9 March.
This project is kindly funded by the Department of Local Government, Sport and Cultural Industries, Healthway and Act-Belong-Commit.
