Join Noongar Elder Statesman Alf Taylor to launch his latest book.
Cartwarra or what? is a selection of poems and stories that spans more than 30 years. It weaves together poetry and prose, past and present to depict Blak writing here and now. It is raw, colourful, and playful while discussing frailty and strength. Speaking personal truths, these vivid pictures of Aboriginal families and communities will touch you.
This launch event will feature readings and speeches. Catering will be included however, this is a dry event (no alcohol). Tickets to this event are free but spaces are limited so please be sure to RSVP below.
