Celebrating Youth Week 2026 at Centre for Stories
Centre for Stories is pleased to share its Youth Week 2026 program, a series of free creative workshops for young people.

In celebration of Youth Week WA, the State’s largest annual celebration of young people aged 10 to 25, taking place from 10 to 16 April, Centre for Stories is hosting a series of creative, hands-on workshops.
This year, our program invites young people to slow down, make things with their hands, and spend time with others in a space that feels open and welcoming.
Across the week, we’re hosting:
Fri 10 April: Vinyl Sticker Workshop for ages 18-25
Design and create your own custom stickers using a professional cutting machine.

Mon 13 April: Art, Stories and Pizza for ages 13-25
A hands-on art therapy session exploring emotion, memory and storytelling through making.

Tue 14 April: Writing About Animals for ages 12-16
A creative nonfiction workshop for young writers aged 12–16, led by Rebecca Giggs.

Thu 16 April: Main Character Energy: The Characters We Carry for ages 15-25
A relaxed workshop where art therapy meets storytelling to build vivid, personal characters.

Each session offers a different way into creativity, from visual art to writing and design. No experience is needed, just curiosity and a willingness to take part.
All events are free to attend and take place at Centre for Stories in Northbridge, with bookings essential.
