Centre for Stories has been awarded a $185,000 grant from The Ian Potter Foundation for our Writing Change, Writing Inclusion writing program for three years.
Karen Escobar moved to Australia from Columbia when she was nine. She is in her final year of her Law/Arts (Journalism) Degree at Notre Dame University and is the events coordinator for PEN Perth.
Maya-Rose is a writer and storyteller. Maya's involvement with the Centre for Stories first began with her involvement in the Saga Sisterhood project where she developed a story called 'Eat Pray Work'.
Yahye is a poet and writer with a passion for giving back to the community through volunteering and serving. As well as being a big family-man, Yahye is spending time with Vivienne Glance navigating the world of poetry and writing.
