Ways of Being Here
In ‘Ways of Being Here’, five writers of African heritage were mentored by established writers to produce work of a publishable standard. Margaret River Press in partnership with the Centre for Stories published an anthology of writings by writers in the program. Rafeif Ismail who participated in this program went on to win the Deborah Cass Award and Yuot Alaak was shortlisted for the T.A.G. Hungerford Award. Funded by Department of Culture and Arts (WA).
