New Event – Readings from the Fiction Edition of The Big Issue

This year, we are very excited to announce that the Centre for Stories has partnered with The Big Issue to present an evening of readings from the 2019 volume. The Big Issue is one of Australia’s best loved magazines and organisations. With a focus on housing and social justice, they cover great stories about interesting people from all walks of life. Each year, The Big Issue publishes a fiction edition. Over the years, this has featured some of the very best writers including John Marsden, Melanie Cheng, and Graeme Simsion.
Local literary figures will bring the page to life and your ticket will include a copy of the magazine. Join us for a fun, uplifting, and quality celebration of Australian fiction!
With readings by Ron Bradfield, Rebecca Higgie, Jay Anderson, Karen Escobar, Iven Manning and Claudia Mancini.
