Partnering since 2019, Centre for Stories and Emerging Writers’ Festival have joined together once again to bring a satellite event to Boorloo/Perth as part of the 2024 Emerging Writers’ Festival program.

Partnering since 2019, Centre for Stories and Emerging Writers’ Festival have joined together once again to bring a satellite event to Boorloo/Perth as part of the 2024 Emerging Writers’ Festival program.

The event titled Dream/Reality will be hosted at Centre for Stories’ cottage in Northbridge on Thursday 5 September from 6.30pm. The evening will include a night of readings and discussion with Centre for Stories alumni Anna Quercia-Thomas (facilitator), Melanie Hobbs, Isabelle Biondi Saville and Baran Rostamian.

Dream/Reality will deep-dive into the blurry lines of creative non-fiction and speculative fiction. Witness writers as they trace the threshold between dreams and reality, reading from their own works and discussing how ‘the real world’ inspires stories and vise versa.
