Hear Our Voices in Mirrabooka
Join us for moving real life stories from three diverse storytellers on the Indigenous Voice to Parliament.
Oct 3, 6:00 pm - 7:30 pm
Unit 9, Edmund Rice Centre WA
Join us at Unit 9, Edmund Rice Centre WA in Mirrabooka for a FREE community event, including free drinks (non-alcoholic) and finger food, for a moving evening of storytelling, yarning and connection.
You will hear the real life stories behind why our trained storytellers are voting YES at the upcoming Voice to Parliament referendum. Our storytellers come from First Nations and culturally diverse backgrounds. We are excited to announce our storytellers will be Perun Bonser, Rida Malik, and Jarred Wall. The event will be facilitated by Ron Bradfield.
This won’t be a dry, factual information session – it will be human storytelling at its finest. However, there will be opportunity at the end for an audience Q&A with the storytellers to ask more questions about their stories and the Voice.
This event is suitable for adults only.
Doors open at 6pm and stories begin at 6:30pm.
We encourage people of all backgrounds and political leanings to come – however all conversation and questions must be done respectfully. Racism or disruptive behaviour will not be tolerated.
