First Nations Write Night

Our First Nations Write Night is an opportunity to celebrate First Nations stories and storytellers and write in safe, collaborative space.

Oct 17, 5:30 pm - 7:30 pm

Centre for Stories

Our monthly First Nations Write Night is an opportunity for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people to come together to develop their writing alongside one another.

Writers can get some solid work done in quiet, or discuss concepts and receive feedback from the facilitators. If needed, Casey and Luisa will have writing prompts to encourage new ideas.

All writing styles and forms are welcome – poetry, fiction, memoir, screenplays, etc. We provide prompts based on what people are interested in learning. We provide some small finger food to snack on, as well as tea and coffee, but you are welcome to bring your own dinner if you want a proper feed.

This session will be facilitated by Nyungar women Casey Mulder and Luisa Mitchell.

This event was made possible thanks to generous support from Spinifex Foundation.
