Youth Program Wrap Up

Celebrate the achievements of our Youth Programs – Word Up and Write Up at Centre for Stories.

Nov 28, 10:00 am - 1:00 pm

Centre for Stories

Join us at Centre for Stories as we celebrate the incredible young people who have participated in our Youth ProgramsWord Up and Write Up over the past year. This special event will feature displays and showcases of students’ work, along with storytelling presentations highlighting their creative journeys. We’ve delivered these programs to XX schools over the past twelve months, and now it’s time to reflect on the achievements of our participants.

Guests can expect a morning filled with interactive activities, including a 15-minute fun and engaging writing session for the students, networking opportunities, and complimentary refreshments. There will also be information on free upcoming workshops for students.

Word Up and Write Up are Centre for Stories’ signature youth oral storytelling and creative writing programs, respectively. Our workshops in schools are designed to support young people to improve literacy, build confidence, and embrace creativity. We do this by providing young people with the skills and platform to share true stories about who they are and what matters to them.

These programs are generously supported by the Department of Local Government, Sport and Cultural Industries, Healthway and our Story Supporters donors.
