Your Work Out Loud! is a workshop to help you overcome the nerves of reading your work to an audience, using a microphone.
Poet and author Josephine Clarke will give you the tools to effectively read your work, while touching on techniques and helpful thought processes that will enable your listeners to hear your work as you hear it.
What is required of you? Bring an A4 page of your original work and a can-do attitude.

Josephine Clarke
Collapse BioJosephine Clarke is a poet and short story writer who was also educated in Speech and Drama in the last century. Since 2008 she has been a member of the collective that runs Voicebox poetry readings in Fremantle. She regularly reads her own poetry and is an active participant within the writing sector. In 2020, UWA Publishing published her first collection of poetry, Recipe for Risotto.
