Poets, writers, storytellers, dancers, and weavers of tales outside the Theatre tradition will work to transfer their stories to the stage for a weekend of live readings and reflection.

The Blue Room Theatre

In partnership, together Centre for Stories, Performing Lines and The Blue Room will support artists, writers and storytellers from many literary forms to develop new works inspired by The Blue Room’s 35 year history.

Over two evenings, poets, writers, storytellers, dancers, and weavers of tales outside the Theatre tradition, will work to transfer their stories to page (in script format) and then the stage, for a weekend of live readings and reflection. 

Inspired by the 35-year history of the Blue Room Theatre, this cohort of multidisciplinary artists will share stories inspired by over 3 decades of artists, playwrights and performers.
