We’ll bring stories home when it’s safe to do so
March 3, 2022
The Department of the Premier and the Cabinet recently announced state-wide level 2 public health measures and unfortunately, due to COVID-19 restrictions on gatherings at private residences, Backstories 2022 will be postponed.
While this is disappointing, our priority is the safety of our storytellers, audiences and staff, so we will deliver the festival when it is safe to do so.
Ticket holders will be contacted shortly with three options – to keep their ticket for the rescheduled date, to be refunded for the cost of their ticket, or to donate their ticket to the Centre for Stories.
We apologise for any inconvenience this may have caused, but we can’t wait to see you later in the year when we can bring stories home safely.
For announcements about Backstories follow our Backstories festival account on Instagram, or our Centre for Stories Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and LinkedIn accounts, where we will be posting regularly about delivering the festival in spring.
