Centre for Stories is awarded AOIP funding from the Western Australian Government
AOIP funding 2023
May 2, 2023
The board and staff at Centre for Stories are thrilled to share that Centre for Stories has been awarded $840,000 to be distributed from the financial years 2023/24 to 2026/27.
Since it was founded in 2015, Centre for Stories has received no operational funding. Without the support of our major and minor donors, loyal patrons, our board and staff, and the most wonderful co-founders (Caroline Wood and John Wood), the Centre for Stories would not be here today. It is with this AOIP funding that we will have security in our operations as a not-for-profit and the ability to continue making an impact in our communities for years to come.
Culture and the Arts Minister David Templeman said: “It was an extremely competitive round but I’m delighted to see six brand new entrants in the mix – Fremantle Biennale, Centre for Stories, Mundaring Arts Centre, North Midlands Project, CIRCUSWA and Theatre Kimberley.”
Congratulations to all of the fantastic and well-deserving organisations that were awarded AOIP funding for 2023-2026.
