AIM WA Pinnacle Awards Gala Dinner
November 10, 2021
We were thrilled to attend the AIM WA Pinnacle Awards Gala Dinner on Thursday 4 November to celebrate leadership excellence and outstanding businesses and organisations in Western Australia.
Sandra Harben opened the night with a powerful Welcome to Country, highlighting the importance of language in acknowledging the Traditional Owners of this Country and building bridges between cultures. We enjoyed good food, drinks, and live music and performances throughout the night, including Phil Walleystack playing with Perth Symphony Orchestra.
Although we didn’t take home an Award this time, we were honoured to be a finalist for The Perdaman Asian Engagement Excellence Award, and are deeply committed to engaging with, and sharing diverse stories from, the Asia-Pacific and Indian Ocean regions. Congratulations to Australian Export Grains Innovation Centre (AEGIC) for their win in this category, as well as all of the other award winners on the night.
Special thanks to our Chair, Jane Den Hollander AO, for making our attendance possible, and congratulations to our Producer and Events Coordinator Claudia Mancini for being the smartest at the Centre for Stories table and taking home the floral arrangement!
