Susan Bradley Smith began her professional writing life as a rock journalist and has subsequently worked as an academic. An award-winning writer, her latest books are the verse memoir The Screaming Middle; the poetry collection Beds For All Who Come; and the memoir Friday Forever. Susan is the founder of the writing and wellbeing consultancy Milkwood Bibliotherapy; Artistic Director of Lennox Head Poetry Festival; and Senior Lecturer in Creative Writing at Curtin University. Robert Wood has interned for Overland and Wild Dingo Press, worked for Australian Poetry, edited for Peril and Cordite, been a columnist for Cultural Weekly and is on the faculty of The School of Life. At present he works for the Centre for Stories.
