A Queer History

Side Walks was a dynamic, one-day celebration of storytelling in its various forms across Northbridge and the Perth CBD held on 5 October 2019.

Funded by the City of Perth, Side Walks was a dynamic, one-day celebration of storytelling in its various forms across Northbridge and the Perth CBD held on 5 October 2019. Bringing together artists, writers, journalists and poets from across multiple disciplines, Side Walks presented six free unique events in venues both usual and unusual.

In A Queer History, Jay Anderson, Jaini Shah, Janet Carter and Serenity Wilson explored the challenges and triumphs of the Perth LGBTQIA+ community, reflecting on what it means to be a member of this community at different points in time.
