In Conversation with Sihle Ntuli and Sisonke Msimang

A one-night live recording of In Conversation with Sihle Ntuli and Sisonke Msimang at Centre for Stories.

In Conversation with Sihle Ntuli and Sisonke Msimang was an event hosted by Centre for Stories as part of the 2024 Patricia Kailis Fellowship.

The Patricia Kailis International Writing Fellowship aims to ‘support the work of talented individuals who have demonstrated a commitment to ideas and practices that foster belonging and better cross-cultural understanding’, ‘deepen and broaden the literary culture in Western Australia’, and offer Western Australian emerging writers access to writers of international reputation.

In 2024, Sihle Ntuli was flown from Durban, South Africa to Western Australia. Throughout the course of two months, Sihle hosted a number of events. This was one of them. In this event, Sihle and Sisonke discuss their connections to South Africa, culture, and the post-Mandela aftermath
