Writing Change, Writing Inclusion Mentoring Program

Our Writing Change, Writing Inclusion mentoring program is open for applications.

Our mentoring program is designed for people who are emerging into the writing and literature space. We will pair you with a writer who can guide you through the initial stages of your writing practice. They will provide advice, editorial support, set tasks, and keep you accountable on your journey to becoming a writer.

The mentoring program will run for 6 months with at least 3 contact hours a month. The program commences in September 2023 and ends in February 2024.

Participating in the program will also give you the chance to network with other writers and be profiled on the Centre for Stories website.

Applications open 2 June 2023 and close 11.59pm AWST 7 July 2023.

The successful applicant will be notified by email in the weeks following the closure of the application date.

Please ensure you read the guidelines before applying.

All are welcome to apply. As an organisation that champions inclusivity, we highly encourage people from diverse backgrounds (including CaLD, LGBTQIA+, POC, First Nations and people living with a disability) to apply.
