J.P. Quinton grew up in Bassendean playing in and around the Swan River. Amongst other adventures, he has cycled from Perth to Melbourne, and Darwin to Perth, and has walked the Australian Alp Walking Track twice. His first novel Bad Boy Boogie: The Adventures of Bon Scott is available on Amazon. He is now writing novels about hiking the Bibbulmun Track, The Shikoku Island Pilgrimage, The Te Araroa Trail, and the Pacific Crest Trail. James has written about ten poetry chapbooks including The Other Report: Poems Against the Destruction of the Beeliar Wetlands, with John Kinsella
