Brigitte Underwood–Legeron is a Creole from the Seychelles. She has been living in Perth for the past 14 years. She is a writer, dancer (sega, samba no pe, dances of the orixas) and Brazilian percussionist in an all female band. She is currently training online in Afro-Brazilian dance techniques with her dance masters in Brazil. Her story is about dancing through covid to push herself and to discover new possibilities.
