Brenda Walker

Brenda Walker is Emeritus Professor of English and Literary Studies at UWA. She has written four novels and a memoir. Her books have won numerous prizes and her short stories have been published in Australia, the UK the US. In 2019 her short story ‘The Houses that are Left Behind’ won an O. Henry Prize – the premier prize for short fiction in the US.’
