
Anju Sivarajah is a storyteller born in Sri Lanka and predominantly raised in Australia. Working previously in community development, social work and the arts, she is raising her daughter to be understanding of and connected to all peoples and religions. Anju was a witness to extreme violent genocide in Sri Lanka when she was 5 years old. In her story, she reflects on the effects of Sri Lanka’s civil war, and her mixed Sinhalese, Burgher and Tamil heritage.
