Story Lounge
Join writer, artist and storyteller, Shenali Perera, for a deep dive into the creative world and body that is you!
This workshop will guide you through creative exercises that ignite your imagination and play with language, while exploring different ways to write your story.
Open to anyone interested in writing, no matter what genre, or your level of experience with English and/or writing.
Please note this event is being hosted at Story Lounge, our new storytelling pop-up in Hay Street Mall.

Please note that the Story Lounge does not have a bathroom but visitors can use the public bathrooms across Hay Street Mall at the Food Court.

Shenali Perera
Collapse BioShenali Perera is a creative writer, storyteller, artist, boxer and backyard comedian (her family would tell you). Born in Sri Lanka, Shenali grew up in the suburbs of Gosnells and Southern River, and remembers a time when her life in Australia stretched only as far as the Carousel Shopping Centre and Gosnells Library. Currently studying her Masters in Human Rights, Shenali is passionate about intercultural dialogue and connecting all the vibrant communities around her to each other.
