Louise Allan
Collapse BioLouise Allan is an Australian writer, mentor and former doctor. Her début novel, The Sisters’ Song (Allen and Unwin, 2018), won the 2018 Tina Kane Emergent Writer Award, was shortlisted for the 2014 City of Fremantle—TAG Hungerford Award and awarded a Varuna Residential Fellowship. Louise was the 2019 Scholarship Writer in Residence at Katharine Susannah Prichard Writers’ Centre. She lives in Perth, Western Australia, with her family and two dogs. In addition to writing, she enjoys walking, music, photography, the bush and the ocean. She is currently editing her second novel.
