Join us for a write night in the city at our new pop-up in Hay Street Mall and carve out distraction free writing time and meet other writers in the community.

Facilitated by Chris Karsten, there are two forty minute writing blocks with prompts for those who need them, with a break in between.

Pack dinner for the break, or make the most of the CBD and grab a bite after the event!

TICKETING

Tickets are $5.00.

WHAT TO BRING

Please bring your own laptops or pen and paper to work on.

TRANSPORT AND PARKING

Perth Underground Train Station is just a 5 minute walk from the Story Lounge, or there is free parking with CPP at His Majesty’s Theatre after 6:00pm, which is also a short 5 minute walk to the Lounge.

TOILET

Please note that the Story Lounge does not have a bathroom but visitors can use the public toilets across Hay Street Mall at the Enex Building.

Chris Karsten has been a member of Write Night since 2016. He is on his own journey towards discovering his voice and style, and is passionate about helping others to do the same. Intimately familiar with the challenges and pit-falls with which budding authors must content, he is always keen to pass along advice and support.
