SUMMARY:First Nations Write Night
DESCRIPTION:Our monthly First Nations Write Night is an opportunity for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people to come together to develop their writing alongside one another. \nWriters can get some solid work done in quiet\, or discuss concepts and receive prompts and feedback from the facilitators to encourage new ideas. \nAll writing styles and forms are welcome – poetry\, fiction\, memoir\, screenplays\, etc. We provide prompts based on what people are interested in learning. We provide some finger food to snack on\, tea and coffee. \nThis session will be facilitated by Nyungar women Casey Mulder and Luisa Mitchell. If you would like to learn something in particular at this event\, please email us at info@centreforstories.com and we will do our best to accommodate you. \nThis event is made possible thanks to generous support from Centre for Stories donors. \n\nTICKETS \nTickets are free but you must register to attend. Register here. \n\n\n\nWHAT TO BRING \nBring a notebook/pad and pens\, or laptop to write. Food will be provided\, and you are welcome to bring your own dinner/snacks. \n\nPHOTOGRAPHY AND CONSENT \nBy purchasing a free ticket\, you acknowledge your photo may be taken at this event and consent to it being used by Centre for Stories for its marketing purposes. The closest parking is at 6-8 Errichetti Place at Wilson Parking. \nCentre for Stories is a wheelchair-accessible building. \n\nCOMING TO US FROM A REGIONAL AREA? \nWe welcome participants who live outside of Perth to join our events online via Zoom.
