Breaking the Glass Slipper II (sold out)

Readings that disrupt and challenge the status quo, and provide new perspectives.

Sep 30, 6:00 pm - 7:00 pm

Alex Hotel, 50 James Street Perth, Western Australia, Australia

Join us at Alex Hotel for an evening of readings from writers who completed the Centre for Stories Inclusion Matters Hot Desk Fellowship over 2019-2020.

Back for the second time, Breaking The Glass Slipper will look at moving past common narratives centred around whiteness and privilege. It is about looking towards those who don’t normally get a platform to share their experiences. Our readers will share stories that disrupt and challenge the status quo, and provide new perspectives.

Facilitated by Karen Escobar and featuring Elham Mohammadnejad, Raf Gonzalez, Tiffany Ko, and Kim Lateef.
