The Enchanting Verses Launch

Join us for the launch of the Australian issue of The Enchanting Verses Literary Review, featuring readings from Alan Fyfe, Rita Tognini, Kate Noske, Priya Kahlon, Scott-Patrick Mitchell, and Jenny Hetherington.

This is a free-to-access literary journal that hosts some of the world’s best contemporary poetry. See the issue here.

Issue editors Siobhan Hodge and Amy Lin will chat about the curating process, and we will hear readings from local poets whose work was published in the Australian issue.


Light refreshments will be provided.

Although this is a free event, RSVP is essential.

Siobhan Hodge

Siobhan Hodge has a PhD in English literature. She has had critical and creative works published in a range of places, including Cordite, Westerly, Axon, Contrapasso, Peril and Plumwood Mountain. Her upcoming chapbook, to be published with Cordite Books, is called Justice for Romeo.

Amy Lin

Amy Lin is a Perth-based writer and lawyer. Amy has published poems, essays, reviews, and interviews with Westerly, Cordite, Axon, Australian Book Review, Centre for Stories and others. She has edited for Westerly, Enchanting Verses, Limina and Axon, and has performed her poetry at Perth Writers Festival, Voicebox, and Sturmfrei Poetry Night. Amy works as a Governance Advisor in the Local Government sector, and is a mentor for the Centre for Stories 'Inclusion Matters' project.

The Centre is a ten minute walk from the Perth train station and the Perth Busport, and is serviced by regular CAT buses.

Parking
Parking is available at the CPP Aberdeen street car park (25 metre walk) or at Wilsons car park on Zempilas St (10 metres).
