Suitable for novice and seasoned writers alike, the Prompt workshop revolves around a deck of always stimulating, occasionally absurd, creative prompts to challenge and disrupt the storytelling mind.
Over 2.5 hours, writers will play with the deck through a series of exercises, micro and flash fiction, pushing the boundaries of their current work or seeking something fresh to develop. Cheese and wine included!
Using a quick-dive research technique to flesh out the prompts with layers of meaning and emotional impact, this intimate and fun workshop is designed to press the reset button on writing, storytelling, and perspective.

“This quiet domestic study is beautifully nuanced – clear, smooth and illuminating… And almost imperceptibly, without suffering from schmaltz, this becomes a story of hope. A worthy winner that showed further restraint in leaving 50 words in the tank.” – Praise from the Australian Writers’ Centre
