Hear debut authors and writers paired with established authors talk candidly about their journeys to publication: their highs and lows, friends lost, and amount of wine and chocolate consumed during the writing process. Authors will confess to their innermost fears and share their vulnerabilities.

Join Kelly Van Nelson and Scott-Patrick Mitchell for an illuminating discussion on what pushes them to write, from ideas to opinions, to personal experiences.

Thanks to Underground Writers, copies of Kelly Van Nelson and Scott-Patrick Mitchell work will be available for purchase on the night! Underground Books is a not-for-profit bookstore that specialises in debut Australian titles. Funds from the store go towards supporting Underground Writers projects which provide information, education and encouragement to emerging Australian writers.

The Centre is a ten minute walk from the Perth train station and the Perth Busport, and is serviced by regular CAT buses.

Parking
Parking is available at the CPP Aberdeen street car park (25 metre walk) or at Wilsons car park on Zempilas St (10 metres).

Wheelchair access is provided. The Centre for Stories aims to be an inclusive and supportive community venue, please contact us if you have any questions.
