Margaret River
Backstories is a multi-sited storytelling festival located in the suburbs of Perth and beyond. Spend a lazy afternoon with friends and family in the comfort of your neighbour’s backyard and enjoy hearing from two trained storytellers. Bring a picnic, something to sit on, and put your mingling hat on, it’s going to be a rippa arvo.
Our Margaret River storytellers will be announced soon.
WHAT TO BRING
Bring your own snacks, drinks, or even a picnic dinner. If you’d like to be comfortable, bring a picnic blanket or fold-out chairs.
A NOTE ON ATTENDANCE
Please note that although this is a FREE event, RSVP is essential. The exact location of this event will be emailed to ticket holders on Thursday 25 March. Please check your junk mail as our emails often find their way into spam/junk.
ACCESSIBILITY
Backstories is located in residential backyards and so we cannot guarantee that all backyards will meet your access needs. We would like to make Backstories accessible to as many people as possible and encourage you to get in contact by phone or email to discuss your access needs. If you require an AUSLAN interpreter, please contact us by 19 February on (08) 9328 1442 or info@centreforstories.com
THANK YOU
Backstories would not be possible without the generous support of our sponsors Lotterywest, DLGSC, and Centre for Stories Founders Circle.
