EOIs open for Industry Representative on Centre for Stories’ Board
Centre for Stories is seeking EOIs from writers, publishers, editors, theatre producers and performers.
February 16, 2023
Established in 2015, Centre for Stories is a place where stories are made, shared and stored, where the craft of oral and written storytelling is taught and learned. We make space for new voices, diverse experiences and different ideas, across the full range of literary genres and forms: from performance to print and digital initiatives. We imagine a future in which Australian culture is enriched through multiple diverse narratives where the voices of those who are now under-represented or silenced will be heard and valued equally.
We are seeking an individual who
(i) is enthusiastic, passionate and committed to the publishing or performance sector
(ii) can demonstrate a commitment to inclusion and diversity
(iii) has ten or so years experience in the publishing or performance sector
(iv) has a national or international profile
(v) is able to commit to an average of 3-4 hours a month
Director positions are voluntary and there is no remuneration for your work. We seek a three-year commitment. We encourage local and national applicants.
