Matt Bacon

A young man smiling

“My name is Matt Bacon, I’m 25 and work in health promotion for the WA AIDS Council. I consider myself a very passionate person, something that is reflected by my job and my studies in sexual health and sexuality. I am a gay man and am very proud to be. My whole life I have always loved meeting people and socialising to the point that at school my report would show, ‘Matt is an enthusiastic participant in class,’ or ‘While Matt is a pleasure to have in class, he is somewhat disruptive.’ Growing up, I think the one thing that could have helped me was knowing I wasn’t alone and that other people felt like me. This is what has contributed to my love of sharing of stories.”
