November 17, 2021
Featuring storytelling, conversations and poetry readings, Side Walks 2021 was a total hit and we’re so pleased to share with you the recordings from 9 October 2021.
Listen and watch Nobuo Hara share his story about finding connection through sport, and the challenges he faced before making it onto the field. Hear an insightful portrait of a life, with Carmie Olowoyo is in conversation with his father, Segun Olowoyo, about culture, family, and love. Listen to a billingual poetry reading from our Still I Rise event, featuring originals poems written in response to Maya Angelou’s poem of the same name. It features poets Karen Escobar, Afeif Ismail, Dureshawar Khan and Daniel Hansen.
And so much more here.
