Centre for Stories
Bright Lights, No City
May 22, 2019
Bright Lights, No City was a project that documented the experiences of nine LGBTQIA+ youth that had grown up in regional Western Australia. These oral and written stories touched on love, desire, suffering, pain, and adolescence. The Centre for Stories is excited to announce that the nine stories were developed by Margaret River Press into a small publication titled, Bright Lights No City edited by Sisonke Msimang.

We thank all those who participated in this project for so generously sharing their vulnerabilities. This project was made possible with funding from Community Arts Network (WA) who manages the Catalyst Community Arts fund on behalf of the State of Western Australia through the Department of Local Government, Sport and Cultural Industries.
